Statistics: Russia’s gas production falls by 6.7% in July

MOSCOW, Aug 23 (PRIME) -- Russia’s natural gas production decreased by 6.7% on the year and by 0.9% on the month to 34.3 billion cubic meters (bcm) in July, the Federal State Statistic Service said in a statement on Wednesday.

The output of associated petroleum gas increased by 11.1% on the year.

In January–July, the output of natural gas fell by 14.2% on the year to 302 bcm, while the production of associated petroleum gas increased by 2.8% to 61.5 bcm.
